A large portion of this electorate is going to return their ballots before Week 1. Overall, 70% of the Primary electorate will vote before election day.
The campaign will be running positive messaging that voters will see through week three.
Voters in the Phoenix media market need to see in broadcast, YouTube and streaming that:
- Democrats cannot trust Amish Shah. In the state house, Shah sold us out to extreme Republicans. He was the only House Democrat to work with Republicans to block access to contraception. He even co-sponsored a Republican law to make it easier to force conversion therapy on young LGBTQ Arizonans.
- Even Shah’s own Democratic colleagues in the legislature said he could not be trusted.
- Meanwhile, Marlene is the daughter of Cuban immigrants who has held the powerful accountable as a journalist and is ready to do the same with Trump and MAGA extremists in Washington.
Registered Democrats and unaffiliated voters who turned out in at least one of the last three Democratic primaries (2020, 2022, or 2024), along with recent Democratic registrants, need to read in the mail as soon as May 19th and see online as soon as May 26th that at a time when our rights are under attack, we need a Democrat in Congress who they can trust to actually fight for us against MAGA extremism, and that’s Marlene Galán-Woods, not Amish Shah.
